Hob NFC devices are configured for secure acquaintance on HobNobVIPfy platform. They have a base layer of security when it comes to sharing HobIDs, and respective safety incase you loose or misplace one. HobIDs as so stated is your identity so should it be kept safe and securer near you or around your trusted networks. Though there is nothing to upset you, when you loose or misplace one, It is worthy to mind to have it/them temporarily dis-activated.  If you consider or suspect them being in insecure hands, or suspect a malicious activity might be hatching please have their functionality disabled by going to the app under Hob™ settings> My Devices and disable the specific one in jeopardy. Incase you face challenge accessing My Devices settings please call us on +1 (202) 7735722 or +254 (202) 020151 and we will be glad to help. We might ask you several questions to confirm its you before disabling your device. For whatever reason, you may need several Hob™ NFC chips to identify yourself, your business, your team or party you are part of, etc. Some people are also comfortable wearing differently and various colour and chip position sometimes matters to many.

You may have external chip like NFC nail sticker chips or or device that has or you believe is Hob™ compatible chip that you bought externally, nevertheless, we do not warrant their performance and compatibility with Hob™ App either way. If you may still want to have your external chip integrated to Hob™ platform you may need to meet Hob™ service team in person to have it done. Kindly, note this is BYOD and requires enterprise plan.
